When changing the font, size, and style attributes of the text within a text block, you can use either the Text Editor or the Text menu commands.
Note: To use Type 1 fonts on the Macintosh, Fireworks requires Adobe Type Manager 4 or higher.
When viewing text in the Text Editor, by default, the text appears in the actual font and size. A text block can contain multiple fonts and sizes.
You can view the text in the Text Editor in the system font and size. This is useful if the font or size makes it difficult to read while you are typing.
To view text in the system font:
Deselect Show Font in the Text Editor.
To view text in the default size:
Deselect Show Size & Color in the Text Editor.
